Description

Overview: Vistra seeks an experienced Military Officer/Tactical Operations leader to support unique JPT/ OPT efforts for U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the military and Microsoft programs.  


Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Providing support in the drafting, approval, and execution of current MILDEC plans and orders to enhance operational success, reduce U.S. casualties, and prevent loss of equipment.  
  2. Providing subject matter expertise to USCENTCOM Component Commands for MILDEC planning with specific expertise in MILDEC plan coordination and plan de-confliction.  
  3. Providing expertise during the assessment of MILDEC operations based upon reviewing Measures of Performance (MOP) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOE) defined in MILDEC plans.  
  4. Providing support in coordinating with Counterintelligence assets 
  5. Providing expertise in the synchronization of MILDEC planned and current operations, activities and investments with Computer Network Operations, Electronic Warfare, operations security (OPSEC), and military information support operations in support of political and military objectives. Providing subject matter expertise input to the ACCM program in accordance with USCENTCOM Regulation 335-2, maintain an accurate archive of personnel currently read on to controlled ACCMs, coordinate read-on and read-off of personnel with subordinate and adjacent ACCM points of contact, capture the required data in the appropriate databases.  
Requirements
  • Education: a graduate from the Defense MILDEC Training Course IAW the current CJCSI 3211.01; a graduate of a Service or Joint level MILDEC training course IAW USCENCTOM R-525-3 
  • Experience: have at least 5 years of MILDEC planning experience; and (5) have a minimum of 3 years of experience at the Geographic or Functional Combatant Command Headquarters or Service Component headquarters that directly supports a Geographic Combatant Command. 
  • Skills and Competencies: 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Effective understanding and use of the English Language.
