Our commitment extends beyond business success as we strive to build sustainable processes that minimize environmental impact and foster vibrant and diverse communities around the globe.<p><span><span> </span></span></p><p><b>JOB SUMMARY</b></p><ul><li>Responsible to serve as the customer interface for the demand plan and shipment information, develop feasible operational plan and maintain ownership over the execution of the operational plan, achieve the objective of customer satisfaction, minimize Jabil liability and continuously improve the performance of the planning metrics.</li><li>Mentor the Production Planners in the Workcell.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities and End Results:</b></p><ul><li>Develops Master Production Schedule (MPS) maximizing operation capacity and attaining planned stock levels.</li><li>Responsibility for confirming the MPS is in line with capacity and material availability.</li><li>Responsible for communicating and coordinating the production schedule for the execution of production orders across the site, ensuring customer priorities are optimized.</li><li>Meets daily with the manufacturing team to assess production schedules, (adjust as necessary based on production results) optimize run quantities and minimize changeovers to help achieve 100% on time delivery.</li><li>Creation of production schedules with a focus on minimising downtime whilst meeting company and customer target inventory levels.</li><li>Monitor daily production to ensure that it is on schedule with production plans, coordinating any adjustments as necessary.</li><li>Manage material master data integrity in ERP.</li><li>Maintains material control and liability, working closely with purchasing team to ensure required materials are available as required for production schedules by reviewing CTS and E+O Reports.</li><li>Build Quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.</li><li>Initiate, organize and lead process / continuous improvement projects.</li><li>Maintains efficiency of capacity and customer sizing.</li><li>Interfaces with Manufacturing Manager, Line Leads, Material Handlers and Purchasing to resolve concerns regarding schedules, part shortages, expediates etc.</li><li>Analyzes material and capacity requirements and communicate constraints to Senior Management based on customer demand.</li><li>Ensure key planning metrics are achieved and maintained e.g., OTD, Inventory, (WIP &amp; DII)</li><li>Minimize and eliminate aged inventory through rework/ reassignment and consumption.</li><li>Responsible for maintenance &amp; compliance to departmental policies &amp; procedures.</li><li>Manages Jabil purge process for internal Workcell purges.</li><li>Adheres to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by management.</li><li>Complies and follow all procedures within the company security policy.</li><li>Other ad hoc duties may be assigned.</li></ul><p></p><ul><li><p><b>Person specification:</b></p></li><li>Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams.</li><li>Strong planning &amp; organisational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Proficiency in the English language is a requirement alongside eligibility to work in Ireland.</li><li>Proven ability to meet deadlines.</li><li>A “can do” work ethic with excellent problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Job Specifications: </b></p><ul><li><p><b>Essential criteria</b></p></li><li>Primary degree in a relevant discipline (Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management). May substitute experience in lieu of educational requirements.</li><li>5 years plus experience working in m<span>anufacturing planning/master planner, forecasting, or related experience in supply chain methodologies.</span></li><li>Requires an in depth understanding of the fundamentals of planning and inventory control, Lean, Six Sigma.</li><li>Demonstrated strong technical skills in ERP navigation and reports.
