About the role
Seeking an experienced DCA Special Inspector or Materials Testing Technician to be based in West Conshohocken, PA. Work area will be in Southeastern PA and Southern NJ.

- Pay: $28 - $35 per hour (DOE)
- Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, · Weekends as needed

- Work Settings: In-Person, outdoors
- This is a hybrid role
- Performing testing on construction materials including, earthwork, soils, reinforcing steel, concrete, masonry, and asphalt
- Perform testing in accordance with project plans and specifications as well as local code requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret project specifications & plans
- Ability to travel to local and occasionally out of town sites, with short notice
- Held discussions with Site Foreman and Superintendents to resolve site issues, as well as being expected to provide daily phone calls to department manager to inform of daily progress of the project.
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in this field
- Possess ACI Field Grade 1 certification for concrete testing
- Possess ICC certification in at least one of the following: Soils, Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, or Spray Applied Fireproofing
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be comfortable working at heights up to about 30 stories high
