The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
This Sr. Director Finance, Corporate Functions will support the Senior Vice President, FP&A in managing the budgeting and planning for all central Corporate Functions, and will partner closely with the Executive Leaders for all the central Corporate Functions (~$1B Budget). As a Sr. Director Finance, Corporate Functions you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
Own the budgeting and planning for all Corporate Functions including Central R&D, Strategy, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Insurance, and other Corporate spend
Partner with Transition Management Office on Corporate Function spend incurred through transition agreements with 3M Company
Enhance visibility of spend categories and identify areas for efficiencies; benchmark against external peers and provide recommendations on resource allocation for Corporate Functions
Develop and coach a team of 5 FTEs and help them implement best practices in managing and reporting Corporate Function spend
Present directly to Executive Leaders and CFO at a regular cadence and help implement resource allocation decisions across the enterprise
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university and 10 years of Finance experience in private, public, government or military environment
A minimum of 5+ years in an FP&A role
Strong command of cost management and reporting
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
A master’s degree in finance or business from an accredited institution
CMA or CPA certification
5+ years of managing Corporate Function spend of ~$1B+
A background in audit or advisory or consulting services, including big 4
Ability to “think outside the box” and embraced continuous change.

Work location: Remote
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international
