Your day-to-day work will include:
Aeyon is currently seeking qualified candidates to support the Department of Defense (DoD)/United States Marine Corps (USMC) Deputy Commandant (DC) for Programs and Resources (P&R) Financial Management Transformation Initiatives in the execution of Audit Remediation. The scope of this work supports the Marine Corps’ quest to obtain and/or sustain a modified or unmodified audit opinion in a full-scope financial statement audit and to greatly improve its internal control environment in support of that objective.
Apply technical expertise and skills to implement business solutions. Level II individuals are directed to exercise core skills on projects, or they may direct small teams.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Familiarity with DON and USMC DC P&R processes and procedures preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Marine Corps Total Force System (MCTFS), Marine On-Line (MOL), and Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI).
• Ability to apply Tech. Expertise & Skills to Implement Bus. Solutions: directed to exercise core skills on Projects or may direct Small Teams.
• Completing system development lifecycle (SDLC) technical documentation,
• Developing requirements, functional design specifications, and process flow
• Testing system processes and functionality; developing test scripts, assisting users with acceptance testing
• Assist in deployment activities
• Creating and/or maintaining databases
• Perform technical data analytics, including data visualization, data reports, data cleansing scripts, and data validation.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) years of progressive, relevant experience.
Preferred Experience:
Experience supporting IT Development (SDLC - Technical documentation, requirements, design, testing, change management or deployment) or creating/maintaining databases or data and analytics experience (creation of data visualizations, data analytic reports, data cleansing scripts, and processes or performing technical data analytics) for State or Federal Government agencies or large, complex companies (greater than 1,000) employees.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: None required; prefer CISA or similar IT professional certification.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited United States college or university in a field of study relevant to his/her professional role
