Job Description

• As a Development Engineer, you will work on the concepts and methods for the Doors requirements engineering environment. Focus is transfer of projects from Doors Classic to Doors NextGen in ALM-Suites (incl. integration of multiple
  systems) for use in ASIC development.
• In addition, you will support this development of solutions for technologies in strong collaboration with other departments worldwide and/or other Business Units or research institutions.
• Furthermore, you coordinate the release and further development of methods and tools to push the EDA Vendors as well as the responsible central IT departments.
• You support the worldwide introduction of methods and training of the users for Doors NextGen and the operation of Doors Classic (including the documentation inside the Reference Flow).
• Collecting the requests of all design teams (worldwide, including future needs) and promote the generalization of project-specific solutions is also part of your task portfolio.
• Finally, you assist the quality and ISO26262 requirements for the EDA tools, both for in-house developments and vendor
  products.

Qualifications

• Education: completed university studies (bachelor's degree/diploma/PhD) in electrical engineering, computer engineering or a comparable subject
• Personality: team player, flexible, responsible, committed
• Working Practice: goal-oriented to introduce process improvements sustainably
• Experience and Knowledge: several years of expert knowledge and experience of state of the art requirements engineering methodology and
  tools (EDA-vendors e.g. IBM) and SW-development-methodologies and -tools (JavaScript- and general programming experience)
• Qualifications: thorough understanding of ASIC development flow, design tools and Software/Hardware environment
• Languages: business fluent in written and spoken German and English
