Job Description

Brightspeed has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Supervisor to lead our Construction Project Administration team. In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of highly skilled Construction Project Administrators (CPAs), driving operational excellence, and ensuring the successful execution of critical repair projects within our organization.

As the Supervisor, Field Operations your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing leadership and strategic direction to a team of Construction Project Administrators (CPAs), fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Directly managing and mentoring CPAs, offering guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to maximize individual and team performance
  • Leading the preparation and presentation of comprehensive business case reports, offering critical insights and recommendations to senior leadership for informed decision-making and resource allocation
  • Developing and implementing best practices, standard operating procedures, and performance metrics to enhance team productivity and project outcomes
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including field leadership, contractors, and internal stakeholders, to optimize project workflows and drive operational efficiency
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for escalated issues, providing timely resolutions and fostering positive relationships with customers, vendors, and regulatory agencies
  • Conducting regular performance reviews and goal-setting sessions with CPAs, providing constructive feedback and recognition for achievements
  • Overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution of repair projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Participating in multi-million-dollar initiatives, providing strategic guidance and oversight to ensure successful delivery within budgetary constraints and timeline objectives
  • Leading by example, demonstrating a commitment to safety, integrity, and ethical conduct in all aspects of project administration and management
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, changes, and emerging technologies, leveraging insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization
     

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in project management, preferably in the telecommunications or construction industry
  • Proven track record of success in leading and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on operational excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with construction practices, project management methodologies, and regulatory requirements
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools and technologies
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours as needed to support project requirements
