The New York Red Bulls are one of 29 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS). RBNY, one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, have competed in the league since its founding in 1996. The Red Bulls play home matches at Red Bull Arena (RBA) in Harrison, New Jersey. The three-time MLS Supporters' Shield Winners are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull for which the team is named. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams.

 

Our Youth Programs:
The Red Bulls Youth Program is a multi-layered system that provides professional support at all levels of the game. Each level of the player development pyramid has been structured to provide support to players, coaches and youth soccer organizations. Within the local community, programs are offered for players of all ages and abilities. For players with outstanding ability, there is an opportunity to progress to the academy level and even the Red Bulls First Team. We are the #1 professional coach education team in the NY/NJ-Metro area and will make you a better coach.  

 

Please note this position is located in Westchester County, New York.

 

Because of the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, your assigned hours may vary to reflect our needs (includes nights and weekends).

Job Description

PARENT COMMUNICATION

Responsible for assisting club with parent communication to provide support regarding program offerings and registration. Responding to all calls and emails within 24 hours.

LEAGUE REGISTRATION

Responsible for registering all teams in seasonal leagues, this includes registration of players and acquisition of player cards. 

TRAINING SCHEDULE

Coordinate creation of seasonal training schedules, communication with coaches and parents on schedule and any future changes or weather cancellations.

GAME SCHEDULING

Oversee weekly game scheduling, communication with parents, opposing teams, fields, and referees.

TEAM FORMATION

Assist with all aspects of the annual player assessment process and team formations. 

CLUB CONTACT

Liaison with the club reporting back to Regional Managers on all aspect of club development and operations. 
• Manage, support and track completion and quality of coach administration tasks. Manage and implement assigned coach’s seasonal training schedules. Track coaching hours and assist with arranging coverage where required. 
• Manage and implement club-based registration programs, supporting with necessary website updates.

Qualifications

Preferred minimum of USC Advanced National or USSF C License


Minimum of one years’ experience coaching within RBYP programming including experience as a senior coach


Ability to demonstrate extensive knowledge of the existing RBYP’s RedPrint to Player Development


Comfortable and experienced interfacing with various levels of staff and management
