THE ROLE

The Director, Partnership Insights will lead the creation of a new vertical at Legends Global that unites the Insights and Partnerships divisions. This leader will be responsible for delivering fast, actionable insights that strengthen partner and prospect relationships, support sponsorship sales and activation, and enhance Legends’ go-to-market strategy.

This role will serve as a strategic connector, curating best-in-class case studies, codifying insights-driven best practices, and embedding enterprise-wide data capabilities into partnership conversations. The Director will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Sales, Strategy, and Legends Global Insights (including CRM, Modeling, Reporting, and Guest Experience) to translate complex data into compelling, revenue-driving narratives.

As a player-coach, the Director will lead a growing team across the U.S. and Europe, championing a “team of teams” approach to insights delivery and scaling the impact of data storytelling across Legends’ expanding global portfolio.

ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development of a new Partnership Insights vertical focused on delivering analytically rigorous, brand- and partner-facing insights to support Sponsorship sales and activation. Serve as the strategic liaison between Sponsorship stakeholders and Central Insights SMEs across Modeling, CRM, Reporting, and Guest Insights.
  • Own the creation of research briefs and strategic deliverables using tools such as Sponsor United, YouGov, Audiense, Sports Innovation Lab, and Placer.AI. Translate data into actionable narratives that elevate partner engagement and drive revenue.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Partnership Sales, and Strategy teams to ensure Partnership Insights is tightly integrated into go-to-market planning, activation strategy, and performance measurement. Mentor and manage the Partnership Insights Manager to scale impact across the portfolio.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends Global policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Seasoned self-starter who is eager to apply business learnings across a portfolio of clients and drive insights.

  • Significant experience communicating complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
  • Can share examples of using data to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and adding value.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE     

  • Between 4-6 years of experience in quantitative, analytical consulting, and/or client-facing businesses, as well as experience interacting with internal organizational leadership.
  • Bachelor’s and/or master’
