ABOUT THE ROLE

The (Senior) Tax Manager is here to help us ensure our group tax compliance and be the technical expert for standardizing our financial processes in order to help stabilize our rapid growth.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL…

• Provide advice on a broad range of of tax issues 
• Support the teams of the entire group of companies in the context of tax issues of all tax types in national and international tax law and work out alternative solutions
• Monitor compliance with tax obligations in Germany and abroad
• You are jointly responsible for the preparation and support of external tax audits in Germany and abroad
• Prepare annual corporate income tax and indirect tax returns for the Group
• Prepare tax balance sheet and profit and loss accounts
• Correspond with tax authorities, auditors and tax advisors
• Oversee the preparation and submission of preliminary and annual  VAT returns as well as recapitulative statements
• Oversee Transfer Pricing policy of the group
• Analyze existing and upcoming tax laws
• Collaboration on special tax projects
• Contact person for day-to-day business issues

PREFERABLY YOU HAVE…

• Strong written and verbal skills both in English and German 
• Degree in business administration, finance or similar with a focus on tax law or further training as a tax specialist
• Excellent technical skills in Tax and understanding of accounting under HGB and IFRS
• Extensive professional  experience, ideally in the tax department of an internationally active company or a national tax consulting firm
• Proven knowledge in CIT and VAT 
• Experience and understanding of transfer pricing policies
• Open and communicative personality
• Careful, conscientious and independent way of working
• Willingness to take ownership and responsibility of projects
