Job Description

Under the supervision of a Licensed Neuropsychologist, the Psychometrist will administer and score a variety of neuropsychometric tests in inpatient and outpatient settings. 

Our Neuropsychology team is offering opportunities for the Psychometrist to also expand their skillset by supporting other specialties in Psychology (e.g., briefer batteries with Geropsychology, psychodiagnostics evaluations with Clinical Psychology).

Responsibilities and Duties

Administer and score neuropsychometric tests following standardized protocols, ensuring accurate and reliable data collection.

 Maintain test security and adhere to ethical guidelines set by the American Psychological Association (APA) and the BCP.

 Prepare testing materials and maintain organized records.

Assist in the preparation of comprehensive neuropsychological reports by providing accurate test data.

Collaborate with the supervising neuropsychologist and other members of the clinical team.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge, including potential training in Geropsychology and psychodiagnostic evaluations, and working towards BCP certification.

Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field is required.

Master’s degree in psychology or related field is preferred.

Experience

Experience in administering and scoring neuropsychometric tests is preferred but not required. 

Certification & Licensure

Certification by the Board of Certified Psychometrists (BCP) is required.

BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required. New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.
