Senior Network Engineer/Administrator

Leveraging the power of innovations, we are on a journey to shape the future of work, and we are inviting you to co-create it with us.<br/></p><p><em><strong><br/></strong></em></p><p><em><strong>This is the job</strong></em></p> Within the Law enforcement industry, we are actively seeking a professional to strengthen our team dedicated to ICT Operations and Infrastructure of a major European institution, located in The Hague, Netherlands. <p><br/></p><p><em><strong><br/>This is you</strong></em><br/></p><ul> <li>Completed university degree (Bachelor's and/or Master's)</li> <li>A minimum of 9 years of experience working as an IT professional after the completed degree</li> <li>Good working knowledge of English (level B2 or higher)<br/></li> <li>A minimum of 9 years of experience in Network and collaboration solutions in large enterprise environments</li> <li>Participation in a minimum of 5 projects involving in network design and deployment</li> <li>Good knowledge of CISCO Networks<br/></li> <li>Certification: CCNP<br/> <br/> </li> </ul><ul> </ul><p><em><strong>This is your role</strong></em><br/> </p><ul> <li>Providing technical support for upgrades and changes to the current and new client's Cisco infrastructure (e.g. Software Defined Networks “SDN” migration);<br/></li> <li>Assist with 2nd and 3rd level escalations, incident troubleshooting and problem resolution;<br/></li> <li>Occasional weekend/after-hours work to be performed approximately on a 4-6 weeks basis after client's prior written approval (which must be clear about the extent to which overtime is permitted);<br/></li> <li>On-Call service<br/></li> <li>Supply the installation, technical, support and maintenance documentation;<br/></li> <li>Perform installation of the necessary network configuration, maintenance and support activities in production and other environments, following the organisation processes and procedures;<br/></li> <li>Change and release management activities related to the secure client's Cisco infrastructure.</li> </ul><p> <br/><br/>W<em>e take pride in the diverse skills and character of our teams, welcoming everyone to apply and contribute to our collective strength</em>.</p><ul> </ul>
