Communication Intern - Houston, Texas  

 

LOCATION: Houston - Texas  - USA 

DEPARTMENT: COMMUNICATIONS 

 

Purpose

The intern will contribute to the Communications Department processes while learning, training, and improving skills in that particular area in order to gain a profound understanding of processes, products, and services.

The ability to work full-time (less than 40 hours per week) and be scheduled at the assigned location during the internship program. Hours will switch to part-time (less than 20 hours per week) when enrolled in fall classes.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • The intern will primarily be responsible for creating dedicated content development (design, writing, etc.), as well as publishing on some of our existing channels to our south offices region.
  • Cooperates in the development of new opportunities identifying areas for improvement.
  • Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
  • Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.

 

Required Skills:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or Creative Media
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills and ability to multi-task
