Position Overview

The Marketplace Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the Get Covered Illinois (GCI) marketplace website. The website is critical to helping connect Illinoisans with and sign up for affordable, comprehensive health insurance. The Manager will not only design, develop, and implement the GCI marketplace website but also work to improve the website, track website user engagement and traffic, and provide website analyses to GCI leadership. The Manager will work with the GCI marketplace communications & marketing director and other GCI leadership to market the GCI website, implement GCI marketplace communication & outreach strategies, and market the website. The Manager will implement and oversee GCI marketplace website accessibility and ensure the website is available & accessible to all Illinoisans seeking to purchase health insurance. The Manager will provide training and assistance to GCI leadership & staff and will assist GCI communications & marketing with social media efforts. The Manager will also work with the Illinois Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) on best practices and standards. The Manager will help GCI to further the mission of the marketplace.
