Position Overview
Under general direction, serves as a staff assistant to the Deputy General Counsel of the Professional Regulation Program Counseling Section. Conducts research on various legal matters. Independently receives and processes incoming Departmental requests for legal related information. Conducts a variety of office support tasks. Assists with special projects.

Essential Functions
- Serves as a staff assistant to the Deputy General Counsel of the Professional Regulation Program Counseling Section.
- Conducts research on various legal matters as directed by supervisor.
- Independently receives and processes incoming Departmental requests for legal related information.
- Conducts a variety of office support tasks.
- Assists with special projects.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, preferably with courses in public or business administration.
- Requires one year of professional experience in a public or private organization, or completion of an agency approved professional management training program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefers at least four years of experience working as an administrative assistant, secretary, office manager, or similar.
