Job Description:

The Corporate Banking Senior Relationship Manager proactively executes integrated sales, service and relationship strategies to support growth and retention of corporate business customers.

Depth & Scope:

• Maintains an established and extensive external network which includes centers of influence, diverse industry segments, community leaders, regulators and senior business contacts
• Sources large corporate prospects and develops new customer relationships
• Handles larger and the most complex credits and loans and more substantial corporate clients, while ensuring ongoing profitability and complete conformity with credit terms
• Oversees the closing of deals across all products
• Oversees and ensures safe and sound underwriting/credit
• Leads the formulation and implementation of long and short-term strategic plans and objectives to increase market share/penetration and maximize opportunities for growth throughout the marketplace
• Develops and implements marketing plans for clients with expanding businesses
• Provides credit, deposit and other banking services in conjunction with client management activities containing high levels of complexity and involving large amounts of money

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of related experience
• Expert at structuring deals to balance risk and reward
• Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations
• Strong written communication skills including demonstrated ability to write reports and business correspondence
• Superior verbal communication skills including demonstrated ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, the general public and professional peers
• In-depth understanding of business and banking terminology
• Proven ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to business related situations
• In-depth understanding of accounting, including financial statement and credit analysis skills
• Proven ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
• Superior negotiation skills
• Superior relationship management and business development/sales skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• In-depth knowledge of credit and credit quality
• Proven ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships
• Proven leadership ability with excellent interpersonal communication skills
