Position Title: Strategic Data Analyst
Salary: $128,500 - $156,000 / Year
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/ Week
Summary of Duties: Provide strategic insights and problem-solving expertise to aid Executive Management in making data-driven decisions for Customer Service (CS) Function in Global Laboratory Diagnostics. Act as Business Partner to selected Customer Service Regional Organizations and CS Functions. Execute data analysis and support partners with actionable insights to drive the Function’s operation and financial performance. Drive commentary process of the monthly reporting cycle and craft stringent business performance storylines based on your data analysis and operational insight you gather from stakeholders. Spearhead the definition, design, and creation of Global Laboratory Solutions analytics and KPI reporting to enhance transparency and drive performance globally across Regions, Zones, and Countries. Assume responsibility as Product Owner for defined Customer Service Business critical analytics solutions. Engage and exchange on project opportunities, best practices with other Diagnostics and Siemens Healthineers business functions and stakeholders. Remote work permitted.
Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Data Scientist, Business Excellence Professional, or an acceptable alternate occupation. The position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills: Data Analytics; Experience correlating different KPIs and data; and Experience with Microsoft Tool Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint. The position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills: Pattern and trend identification; Experience with Global KPI reporting and analysis; and Experience with three or more of the following tools: PowerBI, QlikSense, SAS, Databricks, Python, Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, or Azure DevOps. The position requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills: Implementing complex data projects in a large-scale global matrix organization; and Experience with the healthcare business and in operational functions and processes, such as customer service or supply chain manufacturing, or project management. Remote work permitted.
