The Red Hat Global Ecosystem Marketing Team is looking for a Senior Principal Partner Marketing Manager to join us in North America (any Red Hat office location or can be remote). We are seeking an experienced marketing leader to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives with AWS and other joint ecosystem partners. You will partner with cross functional teams, both Red Hat and AWS, to develop the global marketing strategy for joint offerings. You will also create the go-to-market messaging, content, and assets to drive awareness and accelerate revenue growth. In addition, you will be responsible for providing guidance to regional marketing teams on execution priorities. 

Role Responsibilities

What you will do

  • Collaborate with AWS and Red Hat alliance leadership, Business Units, and field partner marketing to identify priorities, focus partner marketing initiatives, and success metrics.

  • Build and maintain partner awareness and relationships with c-suite, sales, marketing, technical and cloud partner teams.

  • Drive awareness and demand for Red Hat and AWS offerings through marketing programs and communications plans such as press releases, blogs, campaigns.

  • Manage inclusion and promotion of Red Hat offerings at AWS events and Marketing initiatives

  • Evaluate the ROI of partner marketing activities and develop plans for improvement

  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and coordination of marketing activities.

  • Establish close working relationships with Red Hat partner teams to develop, manage, execute joint programs.

  • Lead the creation of joint messaging, value propositions, proof points, customer facing co-branded presentations, joint collateral, and sales guides

  • Support inbound and outbound MDF Expense execution and tracking

  • Maximize industry awareness and thought leadership of the partnership

    • Collaborate with corporate marketing functions including PR/AR, social and customer references 

    • Ecosystem showcases and features at key industry events such as Red Hat Summit, Red Hat Forums and partner events

  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes

  • Establish metrics to effectively monitor and measure marketing impact aligned to business objectives

  •  Work with globally dispersed teams - will need to accommodate out-of-hours meetings

What you will bring

  •  10+ years partner marketing experience 

  • Advanced business, marketing or program management degree preferred. 

  • Experience working with AWS (preferred) or cloud partners to develop and deliver joint marketing plans, is a plus

  • A keen understanding of Red Hat platforms, open source and the joint value proposition, relative to solutions with partners.

  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills with the ability to work with senior sales, marketing and product executives in order to create and deliver timely and impactful marketing campaigns. 

  • Proven project management expertise with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines. 

  • Highly collaborative work style with proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, gather consensus and get support for decisive and timely action. 

  • Proven ability to work cross functionally in a highly matrixed organization.

  • Team player mentality and positive, “can do” attitude 

 

The salary range for this position is $131,810 - $217,490. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications
