Job Description
The Project Manager Cybersecurity - Transit Systems Engineering will manage client projects, Systems Communications Cybersecurity engineering technical and management support functions. This support encompasses the technology infrastructure systems, and technologies required to support Metro, Light Rail and Bus systems.
This position requires a strong background in both project management and cybersecurity, with a focus on securing and protecting the technology infrastructure systems for Metro, Light Rail, and Bus systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cybersecurity projects, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders. This role will ensure the effective management and successful delivery of cybersecurity projects within the transit-rail systems engineering domain. The Cybersecurity Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the coordination, execution, and completion of projects, while also providing cybersecurity expertise, risk management, and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in Cybersecurity, with expertise in Industrial Control Systems (ICS). • Strong knowledge of ICS technologies, including SCADA, PLCs, and RTUs.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with cybersecurity tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions; utilization of the Cyber Security Evaluation Tool (CSET).
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations such as NIST, ISA/IEC 62443, and CISA guidelines.
- Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and penetration testing.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, GIAC, or OSCP are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in project management, including leading project teams, managing resources, and communicating with stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
