The Opportunity
- The position is to support a Special Project for an Intelligence Community customer in Frederick, Maryland. The project is to maintain and evolve an existing set of computer applications on multiple networks.
Responsibilities
- Provide operations and maintenance for an existing enterprise system so they stay running and healthy. Handle outages, accounts, security updates, SolarWinds/Splunk reviews.
- Provide system engineering and Dev Ops to include maintaining the DevOps pipeline, deployments, change requests, AIDE, testing, integration & production environments.
- Execute the Risk Management Framework (RMF) handling XACTA data requirements and all aspects of acquiring government authority to operate (ATO).
Qualifications
Required:
- Must have a TS/SCI security clearance with ability to pass a CI polygraph.
- Must have a current Security + certification
- Has strong experience with Linux CLI & Windows administration and DBMS administration
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, math or a medical field with 8 years of experience.
- Expertise in software development tasks and AGILE development of new and existing applications.
- Expertise in Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Ability to develop and supervise a system/software lifecycle management cycle.
- Experience with Linux Administration such as shell scripting, security, networking
Desired:
- Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8/CentOS 7 (SSH access) to include Apache Tomcat 9, Apache Solr 8, PostgreSQL 13/9.6.
- Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019 (RDP access) to include Oracle 12g (legacy/EOL), Apache Solr 4, Apache Tomcat 8.5, Apache HTTPD 2.4, and MySQL 8.
- Experience with Enterprise Monitoring Tools to include Splunk and SolarWinds
- Experience with DevOps Stack to include GitLab Ultimate, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
- Familiarity with DoD Instruction DoDI 8500.1, DoDI8500.2, DoDI 10.01, ICD 503 and the national Institute of Standards and Technology and Technology Special Publications 800-144 and 145.
- Experience integrating COTs capability into GOTs applications.
