Summary of Position
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Associate Director, Program Management to join our team. In this role you will manage, support, and grow Teladoc Health's partnerships with major insurance companies (health plan payers) while building strategic relationships within your account base, across a matrix of roles and areas of expertise, including executive-level personnel. You will report to the VP, Health Plan Program Management. You will have the
opportunity to expand Teladoc Health's reach within your account base, driving revenue growth, product expansion, and market development as well as leading a team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Book of Business Management:
● Work cross-functionally to develop the internal strategy, positioning, and support for the client and health plan management team.
● Lead, coach, mentor and develop a team of individual contributors so they can develop strong productive relationships with key decision makers, manage defined KPI’s of satisfaction, retention, and growth.
● Develop go-to-market approaches to capture market opportunities and deliver on the Teladoc Health vision in current and new clients.
● Develop and execute strategic plan, responsible for retention and revenue
management.
● Maintain trusted relationships with key clients, vendors and partners to ensure broad market needs are being incorporated into our product development and service enhancements.
● Oversee all programs within the aligned book of business and partner with stakeholders.
● Demonstrated ability to improve processes, products, and client experience.
● Oversee all complex internal and external interactions related to the clients within their book of business, ensuring the best interest of the client and Teladoc Health
● Coordinate with sales and implementation teams to develop successful client hand off/management activities.
● Work closely with the business development/sales leadership/product management in optimizing the sales process, coordinate strategy and issue resolution with cross-functional leaders.
● Perform client review calls and face-to-face meetings to review project status, outstanding issues, and opportunities to integrate additional Teladoc Health services
● Provide internal management information to assist in the updating of monthly forecasts and billing.
● Use Salesforce database to log activities, ensure team members maintain Salesforce database hygiene.
● Identify, develop, and scale up strategic partners to drive client acquisition, platform enrollment and engagement, and new revenue opportunities.
● Exhibit thought leadership and deep understanding of the market landscape, engagement, utilization, client requirements, market drivers, and buying cycles.
● Excellent communication including presentations, negotiations, and C-suite level engagement.

Qualifications Expected for Position
● 7-10+ years experience within the health plan payers space
● A proven track record of success with complex and strategic account management and process improvement
● Deep understanding of commercial, government, and fully insured methodology & operations at health plan partner
● Experience transforming account productivity from volume-based to value-based results
● Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and listening skills, with a natural, effective consultative style
● Ability to energize, communicate and build rapport at all levels within an organization
● Strong project management skills, with a demonstrable ability to corral and manage details in a fast-paced, fluid environment
● Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience advising, presenting to and persuading senior corporate personnel
