ABOUT THE ROLE
The Field Engineer is an entry-level, hands-on position that supports the installation of precast concrete structures. Working closely with field crews and foremen, this role helps coordinate daily operations, ensures proper sequencing and layout, and contributes to keeping projects on schedule.
** This role will be required to travel full time between AL/FL/GA/TN **

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Support foremen, laborers, and operators in daily project tasks
- Coordinate load schedules, sequencing, and deliveries with dispatch
- Assist with layout and ensure proper alignment using survey equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and communicate plans to the crew
- Monitor project progress and help troubleshoot field issues
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, including tracking issues and resolutions
- Assist with jobsite setup, including crane access, logistics, and initial coordination
- Coordinate equipment, materials, and crew needs to maintain efficiency
- Communicate with general contractors and other trades to align project activities
- Support inspections (grout, welds) and ensure compliance with project requirements
