LMI seeks a skilled Senior Requirements Management Lead to support a CBP PMO in the National Capital Region. Responsibilities

You will lead a team of professionals in all facets of requirements management and effectively navigate the DHS Joint Requirements Integration and Management System (JRIMS) process. Your leadership will help individuals who are tasked with writing JRIMS documentation in support of the DHS Acquisition Lifecycle Framework (ALF). Your expert analysis and recommendations will help implement Component strategy through comprehensive capability management. Representative responsibilities: 

  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to provide clear guidance and expert direction on critical processes and requirements associated with JRIMS in support of the ALF processes. 
  • Provide expert support for programs throughout the JRIMS activities and documentation requirements. 
  • Develop tailored requirements approaches that take program unique considerations into account.  
  • Collaborate effectively with government clients and related stakeholders to address taskings, opportunities, issues, and challenges associated with programs and projects.  
  • Expertly craft and prepare briefings for various audiences and level of seniority on program and project status, issues, considerations, etc. 
  • Continuously identify, evaluate, and clearly communicate requirements approaches and strategies to advance program and project operations and performance in line with agency requirements and strategy. 
  • Develop and update requirements documentation.  
  • Support capability-based assessments and trade-off analyses.  
  • Review acquisition decision event packages and provide insight on the requirements equities.  
  • Assist in coordinating with operating components to understand the capability needs, requirements and gaps.  
  • Ensuring that solutions are designed, engineered, testes and sustained to meeting operational needs. 
  • Providing Executive Management Decision Makers with timely, complete and accurate information to make informed decisions.  

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years in analyzing capability needs, requirements and gaps 
  • Strong managerial experience overseeing the successful implementation of solutions   
  • Experience managing teams understating cost and schedule restraints and working with operating components on user requirements. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a wide variety of stakeholders orally and in writing 
  • Possess the ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment 
  • Possess strong organizational skills to enable working with project teams, service providers and various stakeholders 
  • Ability to think strategically 
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, including an ability to collaborate well with others and build strong relationships 
  • PMP, DAWIA or DHS level 3 certification 
  • An active CBP Background Investigation is required.
