What you'll do...

Position: Senior Software Engineer

Job Location: 860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Software requirement gathering from product team, analysis, and estimation. Participate in discussions with business for gap clarifications. Writes and develops code. Conducts unit testing. Communicates status and issues to stakeholders. Collaborates with project team and cross functional teams. Ensures on-time delivery and hand-offs. Interacts with project manager to provide input on project plan and provides leadership to the project team. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing advice and guidance to others. Works with groups of four to six engineers, including offshore associates. Identifies short- and long-term solutions and timeline. Reviews and provides feedback for proposed solutions; and performs design and code reviews of changes. Participates in the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design by partnering with the product management, project management, business, and user experience teams; and obtains cross-function approvals. Performs POC and prototype for new technologies. Coordinates development team to adopt such techs in project. Ensures the system is compliant according to legal and compliance policies. Proceeds with necessary changes for it, if any.

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.

Skills required: Experience implementing REST APIs and coding for applications using Java language Java 11. Experience using Spring and Spring boot frameworks in development of applications and APIs. Experience with application data messaging including Kafka and Service bus to deliver data between different applications. Experience using reactive programming for applications and API development. Experience with Cron for setting up batch job for processing any task or file. Experience with No-SQL DB for data storage and data related ops. Experience with JUnit for unit testing and code coverage. Experience with Sonar for reporting Code issues and coverage. Experience with Eclipse, Splunk, GIT, Map Struct, Log 4j, or Cache. Experience with Cloud technologies for Infrastructure and server deployments. Experience with Maven, docker, CI/CD pipeline for release process. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $174,518/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.  Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
