Customs Project Manager

<p>Join our dynamic team at DP World as a Customs Project Manager. In this role, you will support the customs NL team in maintaining compliance with AEO and other customs licenses. You will also provide support to local customs teams and lead projects to improve customs and operational processes.</p> <p><strong>How you will contribute</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support the customs NL team in maintaining AEO and other customs licenses.</li> <li>Provide support to local customs teams.</li> <li>Lead customs projects to improve customs/operational processes.</li> <li>Ensure all customs activities are performed and communicated in a timely manner.</li> <li>Perform internal audits on recorded customs files upon request.</li> <li>Ensure omissions are root caused and resolved in compliance with regulations and organizational policies.</li> <li>Operate under DP World's AEO-F license in the Netherlands.</li> <li>Manage customs-related activities for bonded warehouses.</li> <li>Oversee customs activities for Imperial Chemical Logistics, part of DP World.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you will bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least 5 years of work experience in a customs-related environment.</li> <li>Experience with AEO-C/F licenses.</li> <li>Experience implementing customs legislation and regulations in processes. Knowledge of national and EU Customs/Tax regulations.</li> <li>Understanding of customs procedures/regimes and the ability to interpret them.</li> <li>Diploma/degree as a declarant.</li> <li>HBO thinking and working level.</li> <li>Proficiency in MS Office and experience with customs management systems.</li> <li>Fluent in English, with additional languages, particularly Dutch, being a bonus.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>You communicate clearly and can explain complex concepts to anyone, whether on the phone or in group settings.</li> <li>You enjoy solving problems and getting to the root cause.</li> <li>You pay strong attention to details and ensure projects are completed thoroughly.</li> <li>You can work independently with limited direction but also enjoy collaborating across dynamic and multicultural teams.</li> <li>You proactively handle competing priorities.</li> </ul> <p>Location: Netherlands</p> <p> </p> <p>#LI-JV1</p>
