Senior Accountant

Accountant Consultant responsibilities for clients include: 
Performs general accounting operations and ensures integrity of financial information, as directed by the Accounting Manager or Controller.

Job Description:

Performs general accounting operations and ensures integrity of financial information, as directed by the Accounting Manager or Controller. The Accountant Consultant is part of the Emerging Growth Outsourced team and may be working with multiple clients and accounting teams concurrently.

Responsibilities:

·       Process accounting transactions (Accounts payable, accruals, vendor payments, expense report processing, cash receipts, fixed assets, payroll, accounts receivable, general ledger)

·       Ensure usage of proper supporting documentation for transactions processed.

·       Utilize RoseRyan’s best practice standard tools, templates, and methodologies in delivery of client services and interacting with RoseRyan personnel.

·       Support month-end and year-end close process including Journal entry preparation.

·       Ensure compliance with US GAAP principles.

·       Prepare payments by approved AP invoices; requesting disbursements; reconciling accounts.

·       Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.

·       Recommend areas for efficiency and automation in the accounting function.

·       Under supervision, assist with the implementation of the RoseRyan tech stack (Expensify, Bill.com, QuickBooks Online).

Requirements

Requirements:

Technical Skills

·       Associate degree in accounting or work-related experience equivalent.

·       Minimum 2-5 years of accounting experience.

·       Strong MS Excel Skills including Excel formulas (VLOOKUP’s, and other formulas).

·       Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software. (QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Bill.com and Expensify).

·       Knowledge of US GAAP.
