Systems Administration, Senior Associate

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Systems Administration, Senior Associate at Fort Huachuca, AZ.

 

What you will do:

• Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.
• Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
• Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
• Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
• Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
• Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
• Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
• IAT Level II (COMPTIA Security +) or higher
• Training/certifications in relevant Microsoft/Linux operating systems or must be acquired within 6 months of hire

Desired qualifications:

•  Experience with Army Intelligence Programs of Record
•  DCGS
•  CPCE
•  Prophet Enhanced
•  CD-1 and AIDP
•  Experience with Army Simulations Programs of Record
•  JCATS
•  IEWTPT
•  MUSE
•  3D Modeling
•  Ability to develop and train peers and subordinates
•  VM Ware experience
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012/16/19 including configuration of services, certificate service, managing geographically dispersed serves, file services management, monitoring event longs, proactively identifying and correcting potential problems.
• SQL administration

Qualifications

What you will need:

• 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
• Top Secret SCI with C/I Poly security clearance.

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
