As a remote first company, we require minimum 25Mbps consumer grade broadband connection.

What You’ll Do

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our New Products Team (NPT). The NPT is a dynamic, cross-functional team responsible for developing innovative 0-to-1 products by extending the power of the NodeZero platform. As part of the team, you’ll play a key role in rapidly prototyping and building cutting-edge security products that address real-world cybersecurity challenges.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in an agile, fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating high-quality backend solutions that impact the cybersecurity landscape.

• Develop New Products: Lead the design and architecture of innovative products from concept to deployment, focusing on long-term scalability while iterating quickly to meet customer needs.

• Backend API Design: Design and implement GraphQL APIs to facilitate seamless data interactions across various components of the product.

• Data Infrastructure: Build and maintain efficient ETL pipelines to process and analyze large datasets, ensuring data integrity and high performance.

• Collaborative Development: Partner with frontend engineers to ensure that data is presented in a user-friendly, accessible manner that enhances the overall product experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with expertise in modern object-oriented or functional languages (e.g., Python, Go, Scala, C++, TypeScript, etc.).

• Cloud Expertise: Experience building applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, utilizing container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SQL Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of SQL and experience with both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and graph (e.g., Neo4j) databases.

• GraphQL Experience: Hands-on experience building backend systems using GraphQL.

• New Product Development: Experience building new products from the ground up.

• Infrastructure Management: Experience in managing and maintaining production infrastructure.

Travel Required

We are a fully remote company, and this job may require up to 5% of travel to be successful.
