Shift: Saturday - Wednesday from 5:30am - 2:00pm
Location: 9715 N. Virginia St., Reno, NV 89506. This position is performed onsite at one of the Company’s operational facilities, unless otherwise specified in the job posting.
Compensation: The expected starting base pay range for this position is $25.81 - $32.26, with a full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $25.81 - $38.71. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

This position may also be eligible for shift differentials, overtime pay, or other forms of additional compensation, in accordance with applicable Company policies and law.

Fleet Maintenance Technician I will ensure all fleet trailing equipment is inspected, maintained, and repaired in accordance with federal and state regulations as well as company standards and will ensure a safe working environment for all. The Must-Haves:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• 1+ year of related experience and/or training in a mechanical setting, or an equivalent combination of education and specific work experience
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
• Experience as a semi-trailer maintenance technician highly preferred
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting/moving items up to 125 pounds and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
• This position works outdoors in the elements; OnTrac provides PPE for all weather conditions
• The physical activity associated with this role is considered high
• You will regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging up to 125 pounds
• You will frequently be required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle or feel
• You may occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
• The employee is regularly required to talk or hear

• Fleet maintenance & inspections: Maintain and provide routine preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections on fleet trailing equipment.
• Safety partnership & compliance: Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by following policies and procedures outlined in the Company Safety Program and partnering with Safety leadership to ensure all programs and procedures are followed.
• Operational support: May be required to use a personal vehicle or Company vehicle to cond
