Job Description

STT-GDC Philippines is a joint venture between Globe, Ayala and ST Telemedia Global Data Centre (STT-GDC).

ST Telemedia Global Data Centres is one of the fastest-growing data centre providers, headquartered in Singapore. With a global platform of data centres in the world’s major business markets of over 170 facilities across Singapore, the UK, India, China, Thailand, South Korea, Indonesia, Japan and the Philippines,

STT GDC offers a full suite of best-in-class, highly scalable and flexible data centre solutions, connectivity and support services that best meet customers’ current and future colocation needs.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist the Head of Legal of the company in the performance of his/her assigned

• duties and responsibilities;

• Draft, review, and/or negotiate contracts/agreements;

• Render legal opinions on any legal queries;

• Perform other legal services, such as but not limited to the preparation of letters to the government

• agencies and demand letters, and meeting with third parties for possible settlement of claims or

• cases; and

• Exercise other functions as may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Has a Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor degree from a Philippine law school.

• Licensed to practice law in the Philippines.

• Member in good standing of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines. 

• Must at least have 3 years of law practice in a law firm.

• Must at least have 3 years of commercial / corporate law practice in a corporation handling labor, immigration, intellectual property

• Experience in real estate, construction, and information and communications technology (ICT) is a definite advancate.

• High ethical standards and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

• Can work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment. 

• Has excellent legal and commercial judgment. 

• A good team player. 

• Highly efficient and hardworking.

• Willing to learn and be trained in other areas of the law and the business.
