Project/Floor Custodian

$16.50/hr

As a Project/Floor Custodian you will prioritize/manage projects, workloads and assist EVS co-workers. Strip, wax and polish floors using light and heavy power scrubbers and buffers. Maintain cleanliness in all assign areas and assist in any additional custodial duties as required.

Skills and experience you will bring to us:

• Capacity to provide thorough cleaning of assigned area (i.e. restroom, windows, marble).
• Strength to assist in moving furniture, Multi-Game machines and equipment in support of other departments for the coordination of special events/projects utilizing proper safety techniques.
• Knowledge to properly utilize all equipment required to perform assigned custodial tasks (i.e. buffer, extractor, auto scrubber, burnisher, wide area vacuum, high lift, portapac, wet/dry vacuum, hand-truck, push carts).

Your knowledge that matters most for this role:

• Must successfully complete MSDS and OSHA training.
• Must possess custodial knowledge (i.e. hard floor care, marble maintenance, and carpet care, ect).
• A valid NYS Driver’s license may be required; may be required to transport supplies/equipment and clean offsite.
