Boeing Poland Engineering and Technology Center is currently seeking a Boeing Commercial Airplanes Customer Support Service Engineering Airframe Project Manager to join our team located in Rzeszow, Poland.

You will be leading the development and execution of project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals. You will solicit resources for projects and processes, provide technical leadership in the management of suppliers and partners and lead process improvements. Ideally, you have a consistent record of building and maintaining effective relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners and direct reports. You bring a distinctive understanding of seek-speak-listen behaviors and are leading by example. You manage, develop and motivate employees.
Responsibilities:
- Develops project plans, directs all project phases and acts as the primary customer contact for project activities.
- Effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Manages employees performing activities within multiple (2 or more) Engineering disciplines.
- Implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, coordinates the operational aspects of ongoing projects, and serves as liaison between project and team, finance, sourcing, and scheduling.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Identifies and actively manages opportunities, risks and issues to ensure effective resolution or mitigation, and co-ordinates required activities to ensure successful delivery.
- Delegates tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Plans, schedules and manages project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track and report project status relative to the approved business case and scope, with transparency and insight into overall health of the project.
- Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Determines the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyzes results and investigates problem areas.
- Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential risks, and devises contingency plans.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Basic Qualification (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 3+ years of Engineering related experience.
- Upper Intermediate English is a must.
- Experience in a people management position.
- Experience in project management.
- Highly competent in using MS Project & the MS Office products in general.
- Experience of working with Engineering Documentation.
- The individual must be enthusiastic, hands on in their approach and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
- The individual must be Customer Focused: Develop and maintain customer relations inside the organization. Actively seeks information to understand customer’s circumstances, problems, expectations and needs.
- The individual must build Positive Relationships: Builds effective working with relationships with team and cross functional groups that are required to contribute to the success of the program.
- The individual must be ready to spend up to 20% of working time in business trips. The main destination is US, California.
- Existing authorization to work in Poland.
