About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced anime animation specialist for a unique short film project. This creative endeavour aims to seamlessly blend anime-style animation with live-action footage, drawing inspiration from classic hybrid films. The project requires an animator skilled in creating high-quality anime characters, particularly female characters, that can interact convincingly with real-world elements. This short-term opportunity offers the chance to contribute to an innovative visual storytelling experience.

Responsibilities:

• Create anime-style animated characters that integrate smoothly with live-action footage
• Design and animate a female anime character as the main animated element of the film
• Ensure the animation style is consistent with high-quality anime productions, similar to studios like Kyoto Animation or Cloverworks

Requirements

• Proven expertise in anime-style animation, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work
• Proficiency in animation software and techniques used in professional anime production
• Experience in creating animations that interact with live-action footage
• Strong understanding of female anime character design and animation
