About the role

Title: Hospital Liaison 

Employment Type: Full-Time  

Pay Rate: $25 - $27 per hour 
Schedule: Monday – Friday 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Location:Traveling to multiple client locations within the 5 boroughs in New York and Long Island

Responsibilities:  

  • Facilitate a close working relationship between our Client and DocGo 

  • Act as the liaison and the point person to ensure a strong partnership 

  • Work independently and establish strong relationships with patients, clinicians, and staff 

  • Participate in regular team meetings to provide updates to stakeholders 

  • Maintain a clear focus on high quality patient care and service 

  • Address any issues that arise and include DocGo leadership when needed 

  • Problem solve and find solutions for any areas of improvement opportunities 

  • Demonstrate professionalism and integrity in all verbal and written communications, adhering to ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies 

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, hospital policies, and industry standards related to patient privacy, communication, and ethical conduct in all interactions with patients and external stakeholders 

  • Stay informed about developments in healthcare trends, patient engagement strategies, and regulatory changes, seeking opportunities for professional development and incorporating new knowledge into daily practice 

  • Perform other duties as assigned 
     

Qualifications:  

  • High school diploma or GED 

  • Must have 3 years of customer service experience  

  • Previous experience in EMS, healthcare, or a hospital setting preferred 

  • Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Calendar, Excel, etc.)
