REPORTS TO:  Communications Manager

POSITION TYPE: 12-month

START DATE:  Immediate opening

COMPENSATION: $24.24-$28.60/hour, Home Office Grade 3

(role is estimated to earn $50,634-$59,494/annually)

THE OPPORTUNITY

YES Prep needs a dynamic Digital Content Creator with a diverse set of experiences, to make our mission a reality. As a YES Prep employee, you will achieve jaw-dropping results, create pathways to opportunity for our students, build transformative relationships, and eliminate educational inequities to advance social justice.

To put it simply, you will play a key role in shaping and executing content strategies across YES Prep’s digital platforms, including websites and social media. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, overseeing content creation, management and optimization to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

THE ROLE

When you join the YES Prep team, some of the work and responsibilities will include:

• Leading the creation and execution of content for YES Prep's main and school-specific digital platforms.
• Creating and optimizing YES Prep’s main website and main social media content to enhance visitor experience and engagement, ensuring that compelling and relevant content drives interaction and keeps visitors engaged.
• Providing Communications team high-quality content feedback to meet organizational goals and increase brand visibility.
• Working closely with the Communications and Marketing team in ideating and creating written and visual content for internal and external audiences, maintaining alignment with YES Prep’s voice and brand.
