Job Details
A caregiver in this position works on-site Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Cleveland Clinic Administrative Campus in Beachwood, Ohio.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Ensure workstations and peripherals are maintained at the highest level of availability and reliability.
Handle LAN administration, installations, email administration, consulting services and problem resolution.
Assist caregivers and management in making Information Systems investments and decisions.
Consult on desktop applications and configurations to improve employee productivity.
Troubleshoot software, hardware, network protocols, workstation and departmental server-related problems.
Provide second level diagnostic Help Desk support for hardware, software and operating systems.
Act as the primary contact for ongoing support requirements including all hardware components.
Coordinate workstation purchase decisions based on enterprise standards.
Recommend, design, build and support PC workstations.
Build and maintain detailed workstation documentation including configuration of desktop software and impact of additions, deletions or upgrades to the workstation.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High school diploma/GED
Two years of experience in information systems
Experience supporting mid-size workstations and server environments
Experience with personal computer architecture, interface components and telephone systems
Demonstrated knowledge of information systems and small to mid-size (100-700 node) networks
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Experience with personal computer architecture, interface components and telephone systems preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Will be required to frequently move, box, personal computers, 17' monitors, printers and peripherals up to 75 pounds via the use of a two-wheeled cart or dolly.
May occasionally be required to transport equipment in personal vehicle.
Requires normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech.
Requires frequent standing, walking, sitting and manual dexterity to operate computer.
