Warehouse Technician
This position will report to Regional Field Service Manager. Work hours will be from 7 am to 3:30pm, Monday-Friday with moderate weekend work required
Responsibilities:
- Receiving/inspecting goods and verifying items against the shipment record
- Gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method
- Recording received and shipped items.
- Maintain oil processing trailers, including maintenance, repairs etc. that make sure everything is aligned and organized.
- Maintain an active CDL required to drive tractors with/without trailers for inspection
- Setting day-to-day operational objectives for team
- Manage vehicle maintenance, registration, insurance, etc.
- Maintain calibration of all test equipment
- Arrange for repairs to test equipment, dry air machines, and other company equipment.
- Problems faced may be difficult but typically are not complex.
- Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.
- Maintain company equipment in an organized 5S manner.
- Previous warehousing and/or shipping experience is preferred for this position.
Requirements:
Associate degree and 2 years’ experience or High School diploma and 5 years’ experience in manufacturing/service warehouse environment required.
Be available evenings and weekends to respond to emergency needs for field service.
Ability to operate forklift effectively.
Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Experience in SAP is highly preferred
