As a HR Business Partner, you will provide corporate support for human resource activities including but not limited to: compensation, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement and compliance.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and develop effective people strategies, practices and processes including recruiting, assessment tools, interviewing, placement, retention and associated recordkeeping functions.
- Build cross functional partnerships with all managers regarding people focused initiatives
- Understand talent gaps in succession plans and build recruiting strategies to address them.
- Collaborate with team to identify and develop key sourcing initiatives to ensure a constant pipeline of talented and diverse applicants.
- Own the candidate experience and conducts analysis, follow-ups, etc., to continually improve.
- Work closely with Marketing to improve Employee Branding.
- Participate in ongoing analysis of key data identifying trends and providing recommendations such as new hire reviews, exit interviews, glass door reviews, etc.
- Support Hunter’s cultural values to improve the employee experience and foster an environment where employee suggestions, concerns, and requests are handled with proper discretion, objectivity and fairness.
- Lead key initiatives to promote and achieve a culture of excellence and employee engagement.
- Partner with management on the performance review and merit recommendation process. Ensures training of supervisors and managers in effective performance management techniques.
- Collaborate with other HR professionals to analyze and design processes and systems to attract, reward and motivate the workforce.
- Conduct human resource audits to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws & regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Institute corrective actions as necessary.
Additional projects and duties as needed.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other human resources related field preferred and/or a combination of education and relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in human resources, two years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Excellent communications skills are required including excellent oral and written present skills.
- Strong knowledge employee relations, compensation, benefits, staffing and employment law.
- Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
