Summary of Position:

We are looking for hard working, outgoing, friendly people with exceptional guest service skills who are passionate about serving in both a fast-paced and moderate-paced environment. The FS Attendant will use their skills to support events requiring food and beverage service set ups/tear downs and serving time execution during weekend services and other Gateway ministry events. Tasks included in this role are administrative, organizational, and servant driven. 

Principal Job Responsibilities:

All Food Service Attendants must secure a Food Handler's Certificate, which will be supplied by the Café & Food Services team

• Support food service for Gateway events serving as liaison between staff, ministries, and volunteers
• Develop a solid understanding and knowledge of the schedules, equipment, and areas of responsibility 
• Assist in café as needed

Serve as on-sight representative during weekend services and events. Responsibilities include:

• Greeting volunteers assigned as Food Team and delegate tasks by providing clear instructions
• Serving as point person for all catering deliveries, ensure food orders are correct, sign and manage receipts
• Overseeing the delivery, setup, maintenance and cleanup of all serving stations & Green Rooms
• Managing the use of all equipment, linens and supplies required to support the event
• Managing supplies and resources for good stewardship
• Ensuring that kitchen, equipment and all serving areas are clean and ready for next event
• Promoting a clean, professional appearance and able to adhere to dress code guidelines
• This is a part-time position of approximately 10-25 hours per week to support Gateway Church needs
