ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Regional Director of Operations is a highly visible role in the organization and is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of multiple care centers within a designated region. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, and collaboration with clinical and administrative teams to ensure high-quality patient care, profitability, and overall operational excellence.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountability and management of Care Center P&Ls which includes working with the finance team to develop and manage budgets for each care center and analyzing financial data to implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
  • Responsible for best-in-class patient experience at care centers which includes implementing initiatives to enhance the patient experience and satisfaction.
  • Responsible for addressing and resolving all operational issues within the assigned region.
  • Responsible for training and leading Market Leaders/Operational Leaders as well as their ongoing professional development.
  • Serves as a Clinical/Operations liaison between/within care centers, and clinical and executive leadership teams.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the organization's strategic plan and goals including overseeing and leading care center performance. 
  • Identify opportunities for expansion and improvement within the assigned region. 
  • Work closely with other department leaders, including operational leaders, VBC, finance, and human resources, to achieve organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Strong background in managed care with some level of accountability in P&L and/or MLR.
  • At least 3 years of experience in healthcare operations management. 
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing multiple medical clinics or healthcare facilities.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze operational data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Ability to navigate and learn the organization’s technology such as EMR, Phone System, etc. 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • General office working conditions. 
  • Hybrid/Remote Role—requires routine travel to multiple care centers within assigned region.
