About the role

JOB SUMMARY

This fellowship will provide the opportunity to build AI models for precision oncology.  Under the direction of Dr. Jiang, this three-year postdoctoral fellowship project will develop AI models to predict cancer patients' prognosis and treatment response. Recent advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) have exhibited considerable potential in medical image analysis and precision oncology.  We have developed several radiomics and deep learning models based on radiology images (CT, PET, MRI, etc) and pathology images (H&E, IHC images) for different clinical tasks. The position will provide the postdoctoral fellow the opportunity to develop AI models for different clinical tasks for precision oncology.  Our goals are to: 1) develop AI models based on radiology or pathology images for clinical tasks, such as prognosis, radiation/immunotherapy response and normal tissue toxicity, etc.; and 2) to explore image transformation using generative AI techniques and 3)  to develop large-scale AI models using extensive image and clinical data.
