Get to know the business

Enterprise Risk Management (“ERM”) is responsible for managing and overseeing risk at Corebridge Financial. In that capacity, ERM supports the Board of Directors and management to determine strategy while balancing profitability, risk and growth. ERM oversees the implementation of Corebridge Financial’s risk framework and drives the maturity of related risk policies, standards, frameworks and capabilities. Through controls and metrics, ERM oversees that risks are maintained across Corebridge Financial within predefined ranges as the company executes against business plans and strategic actions.

Locations:

Corebridge ERM intern position is available in Jersey City, NJ.

The hourly pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00. Upon hire as a regular, full-time employee, the company offers a range of benefits.
 

Summer Internship Program Description

Joining the Corebridge Financial Summer Internship Program is a great way to enhance your business acumen and gain insight into our industry. Summer interns are placed into meaningful and interesting roles that are valued by the business.

The Summer Internship Program lasts approximately 10 weeks and is targeted to students entering the final year of their undergraduate or graduate education.  After initial orientation, summer interns will join one of our business lines, each of which offers a unique opportunity to obtain core technical knowledge and professional skills in a diverse environment. In addition to gaining on-the-job experience, summer interns have the opportunity to learn directly from senior management and participate in webinars, discussion forums, and networking receptions.
 

Summer interns establish goals with their managers during the first week, and the goals are measured at the mid- and end- points of the summer. Successful summer interns may be considered for full-time analyst positions that become available in summer of 2026.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum grade point average of 3.0 (unofficial transcript required upon application)
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or candidate for bachelor’s or master’s degree to be received between December 2025 - August 2026
• Driven individuals who demonstrate strong academic and extracurricular achievement
• Bold thinkers that possess solid analytical and quantitative skills
• Enthusiastic about learning about the finance and insurance industry
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator
