What You’ll Do:
Work under the supervision and support of a seasoned Speech Therapist
Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients, from birth to age 18
Create client specific goals focused on effective communication, utilizing verbal and non-verbal communication skills
Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment
QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For:
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology
SLP licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois
Practicum experience in a pediatric outpatient or school-based setting, strongly preferred.
