Our Forensic practice investigates problems in the built environment and provides evidence-based solutions founded on rigorous science and physics. We assist attorneys, property managers, building owners, contractors, manufacturers, and design professionals with a wide range of engineering and architectural issues.

Your Role 
As a Senior Mechanical Associate in our Forensics Practice, you’ll step into a role where your expertise drives project direction, client strategy, and technical excellence. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to major clients, guide teams through complex challenges, and shape firm-wide thinking on innovation and growth. This is a high-impact position for engineers ready to lead at scale and elevate their influence across the industry. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Own the technical vision on large or complex forensic projects, setting direction, leading independent technical reviews, and defining best-in-class solutions. 

  • Serve as the primary client partner, building trusted relationships, anticipating needs, and creating long-term strategic impact. 

  • Lead and grow high-performing teams, managing and delegating both technical and management responsibilities across multiple staff.  

  • Drive new business and market presence through high-level proposal development, thought leadership, and visible industry engagement. 

  • Shape firm strategy, developing your own business roadmap and advising senior leadership on opportunities, markets, and emerging trends. 

  • Strengthen our position in the industry by deepening expertise, building your personal brand, and helping the firm expand into new opportunities. 

 

What You’ll Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s or PhD preferred. 

  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure. 

  • 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience, with a track record of leading complex projects. 

  • Recognized subject matter expertise in your practice area, with strong technical judgment and advanced problem-solving ability. 

  • Leadership that inspires and guides teams through mentoring, empowerment, and effective communication, while actively growing your client-facing presence.
