Job Title: Associate, Business Management
Reports to: Director, AI, CRM & Technology Strategy
Location: New York
Department: Investment Banking
Salary Range: $130,000-$150,000
Role Overview
This role supports the IB Business Management team and helps drive the execution of the Banker Transformation strategy, spanning AI, CRM, Data Governance, IB Tools, and Vendor Management.
The individual will work across multiple initiatives to drive project execution, perform analysis, and support adoption efforts, partnering closely with senior leadership and business stakeholders.
This position is designed as a flexible, high-impact generalist role, capable of contributing across both strategic initiatives and day-to-day execution needs.
Primary Responsibilities
Project Execution & Analysis
- Contribute to planning and execution of initiatives across AI, CRM, Data, IB Tools, and Vendor Management for Investment Banking
- Own discrete projects or components of larger initiatives, ensuring end-to-end execution and delivery
- Translate business needs into structured requirements, user stories, and workflows
- Track progress across multiple workstreams and drive follow-through on key deliverables
- Prepare materials for stakeholder meetings, including updates, analyses, and recommendations
CRM, Data, & Reporting Support
- Assist in maintaining CRM data quality through monitoring, reporting, and targeted cleanup efforts
- Support development of dashboards and reporting to drive business insights
- Help execute data governance processes and ensure adherence to standards
AI, Tools & Workflow Enablement
- Support rollout and adoption of AI tools and workflow solutions within Investment Banking
- Assist in documenting use cases, gathering feedback, and refining implementations
- Help develop training materials and support end users in day-to-day tool usage
Testing, Operations & Execution
- Coordinate and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features and tools
- Perform recurring operational tasks such as data checks, issue tracking, and follow-ups
- Act as a central point of coordination across stakeholders to ensure initiatives move forward
Vendor & Research Support
- Assist in evaluating external vendors and tools, including research and comparative analysis
- Support preparation of materials for vendor discussions and internal decision-making
Experience & Qualifications
- ~5 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or related roles within financial services or technology
- Strong ability to operate across both structured analysis and hands-on execution
- Experience working with CRM systems, data, or reporting tools preferred
- Familiarity with AI tools and interest in emerging technologies
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work across business and technology teams
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools is a plus
