Summary/Purpose:
The primary job is proper movement of products in the Cairo Plant.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
• Work in process from one department to the next per Operation Sheet
• Finish goods from production department to Shipping or HighBay
• Pull product from receiving docks to store in High Bay
• Completing pulls from H-Rack in support of Dept 77 shift pulls
• Operate scales to weigh count product
• Store and retrieve product in the H-Rack Storage
• Make transactions in Oracle
• Issue/store product in Oracle
• Keep clean, orderly work area
• Issue/return items from Discrete jobs
• Operate forklift/tugger in a safe manner
• Keep clean, orderly work area
• Complete plant pitches on time to ensure all customers are served in a timely fashion
• Maintain accurate inventory/system counts
• Follow FIFO order to pull product
• Keep clean, orderly work area
• Operate forklift/tugger in a safe manner
• Keep clean, orderly work area
• Learn to operate high bay system safely
• Keep clean, orderly work area
• Provide coverage for High Bay operator absence
• Keep clean, orderly work area
• Perform accurate cycle counts weekly
• Employee may perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Must pay close attention to detail to ensure parts are moved to the correct process per the traveler.
• Must be disciplined to follow Standard Work Practices.
• Must have good math skills in dealing with decimals and fractions.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively and efficiently.
• Must be multi-tasked to handle multiple diverse tasks accurately and completely.
• Must be a self-starter that can work with minimal supervision.

Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous forklift/tugger experience preferred
• Intermediate computer skills preferred
