Position Description
As a Director of Sales your role will be to lead and accelerate the growth of our electrification business. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a high-performing sales team, and building strong relationships with key customers in the rapidly evolving electrification market.

You will do this by:

Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, including OEMs, distributors, and end-users.

Developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve ambitious revenue targets and market share goals.

Identifying and prioritizing key customer segments and target markets.

Analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.

Developing and executing sales plans, including account targeting, lead generation, and sales pipeline management.

Leading, managing, and mentoring a team of sales professionals and fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.

Providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance the team's sales skills and product knowledge.

Setting clear performance expectations and monitor progress towards goals.

Conducting regular sales meetings and performance reviews to provide feedback and guidance.

Understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.

Negotiating contracts and closing deals that are mutually beneficial for the company and its customers.

Proactively addressing customer concerns and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the electrification market.

Developing and executing strategies to expand market share and penetrate new customer segments.

Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

Building and maintaining relationships with key industry stakeholders.

Managing sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics.

Tracking and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Preparing and presenting sales reports to senior management.

Utilizing CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems and other sales tools to optimize sales processes and efficiency.

Performing full range of managerial responsibilities for sales representatives and/or sales managers which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; department budget

You are the type of person who is/has:

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of battery technology, electric motors, power electronics, and charging infrastructure.

Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the electrification market, customer segments, and competitive landscape.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Related fieldExperience Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales or related field
- Minimum five years of people management experience
