Schedule Details:

Monday through Friday, Weekends - One Full Weekend a Month

Scheduled Hours:

12 PM TO 8 PM - Monday to Friday and 9 am to 5 pm SATURDAY AND SUNDAY (WHEN WORKING WEEKEND)

Provides administrative support to consumers and staff of our integrated outpatient community behavioral health centers.

I. Major Responsibilities:

1.  Greets clients.
2.  Performs check-in and check-out with clients, including verifying insurance eligibility, entering information on lapsed insurance/new insurance, collecting co-pays and balances due and providing receipts, submitting cash sheets, updating client, demographics, notifying staff that client is checked in.
3.  Schedules client appointments.
4.  Enters and makes changes to staff schedules.
5.  Completes administrative intake with clients, including providing intake packets to clients and collecting completed forms.
6.  Answers calls and emails and responds to messages.
7.  Completes referrals to specialists.
8.  Completes daily reminder calls.
9.  Completes prior authorizations.
10. Completes PTIs.
11. Transfers and closes cases in the electronic medical record.
12. Sends and distributes faxes and mail.
13. Works as a member of the support team.
14. Scans documents into the electronic medical record.
15. Assists doctors and clinicians with letters and referrals.
16. Maintains calendars, professional meetings, vacations, conferences, etc..
17. Performs other related job duties.

II. Position Qualifications:

License/Certification/Education:
Required:

1. Grade C02: Senior Receptionist: Minimum of a high school diploma/GED/HiSet.

2. Driving is not a requirement.


Preferred:
1. Grade C02: Senior Receptionist: Associate's degree

Experience/Skills:
Required:

1. Advanced computer skills.
2. Ability to multitask.
3. Ability to use office equipment, including copy machines, computers, printers, telephones and four drawer vertical filing cabinets.
4. Ability to organize complex tasks and meet deadlines.
5. Must be able to pass a CORI background check.

Preferred:

1. Two (2) years of experience.

Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.

Department-specific competencies, including age-specific competencies and their measurements, will be developed and maintained in the individual departments.  The competencies will be maintained and attached to the departmental job description.  Responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents.

III. Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:
