Hasbro Children’s Hospital offers a broad spectrum of both routine care and specialty programs not available elsewhere. Hasbro Children’s has the only pediatric emergency department, Level 1 trauma center, pediatric critical care teams and 24-hour ambulance in the region. Located in Providence, RI, we are minutes to downtown Providence, less than an hour south of Boston and 4 hours to NYC. For more information or to apply, contact L. About the Job:
- Treat adolescents in a 16-bed inpatient unit
- Care primarily for patients with co-existing medical and psychiatric disorders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams developing behavior plans and provide individual, family, and group therapy
- Multidisciplinary team is comprised of pediatricians, child psychiatrists, psychologists, an advanced practice psychiatric nurse, social workers, pediatric nurses, mental health workers, and nutritionists
- Opportunity to teach and provide supervision
- Collaborative research opportunities
About You:
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Child Psychology
- Licensed or license-eligible in Rhode Island
- Desire to work in a team-based care model
- Experience working in an inpatient setting
- Bring a passion for helping youth with medical and psychiatric issues
- Good sense of humor and a “roll-up your sleeves” mentality
