Summary: :
Responsible for project execution, ensuring the project is delivered within contract requirements for schedule, quality, safety, and/or IPM performance expectations. The single point of contact on the client/customer facing side and the single point of accountability on the business/delivery aspects of the work.
As a Site Project Manager, you will directly interface with the IPM customer and IPM’s internal management team(s) to guide, direct and consult oversee assigned projects to a successful completion. This includes being responsible for managing, coordinating, and administering singular or multiple projects on-site from the planning, engineering, mobilization, site setup, site execution and site tear down.
The Site Project Manager is responsible for the ultimate success of the project(s) and must exhibit and enforce a culture where quality and safety are the top priorities!

Requirements
Overall Duties:
- Overall responsibility for site project execution, ensuring the project is delivered within the contract requirements, standards of quality and safety, and IPM performance expectations.
- Work with Project Technical Leads to ensure Work Scopes are well defined, documented, and communicate to all relevant personnel.
- In conjunction with the on-site shift leads, supervise the overall execution of site project(s). This includes but is not limited to training, equipment setup, equipment operation, measurement and alignments, all required documentation, etc.
- Identify critical path milestones, set target for milestones dates (both internal and external) and hold customer and IPM personnel accountable for their commitments.
- Facilitate communication between customer and Quoting & Estimating regarding any necessary Change Orders.
- As required, manage all Change Orders ensuring Work Scopes and related milestones are updated.
- As required, teach, coach and demonstrate proper techniques and utilization of equipment.
- As required, be an active participant in the on-site work.
- Identify process improvement opportunities.
- Communicate process improvement opportunities to IPM Management, assist with creating and implementation of process improvement plans.
Daily Duties:
- Communicate with all relevant stakeholders relating to job/task scheduling:
- Provide daily updates via defined methods of communication
- Reconcile Paylocity timesheet data with daily on-site reports.
- Ensure the project Work Scope is being followed.
- Ensure all measurement / inspection plans are followed and documented.
- Ensure all Stand-By Time (customer or IPM sponsored) is properly documented and managed to the greatest extent possible to minimize overall cost to the customer or IPM.
- If a non-conformance(s) arises, engage and involve the proper customer and IPM personnel until resolution is achieved.
- In conjunction with the on-site shift leads, manage the on-site labor effectively and efficiently to ensure site projects achieve or exceed budget expectations. This includes but is not limited to moving personnel to critical path processes, between projects, across shifts, adding/subtracting personnel from site as required to match the demands of the project timing.
- Facilitate communication between internal IPM working groups (Process Technical Team, Mobilization, Shop Machining, Scheduling and Logistics, Engineering, Quoting and Estimating, Regional Operations Mgt and Human Resources) as well as the customer to ensure effective utilization of resources.
- Facilitate all communication with the customer and relevant IPM personnel regarding any deviations or modifications to the Work Scope.
- Manage on-site inventory to ensure uninterrupted performance of upcoming jobs/tasks:
- Field machining equipment
- Inspection equipment
- Consumables and supplies
- Maintain condition of IPM machine tools and equipment:
- Lubricate bearings and slides
- Apply rust preventative
- Protect from dust and blast media
- Proper storage of measurement instruments while work is being performed
- Inspect electrical items and utilize Trace system to document OSHA compliance.
- Fix or arrange to have fixed any broken or damaged equipment.
- Seek opportunities to expand IPM’s service penetration with customer.
- Participate in the quoting and estimating process for onsite Change Orders
